sad, suicide, best friend,death
She escapes, deep into the crevaces of her mind.

Watching her.

Her thoughts taunting her. Laughing.

Mimicking her sanity.

She curls up like an infant

Arms embrace her knees

Like a fetus in her mothers womb.

Wanting to cry. Scream.

Her throat closes. Just silence.

Hardly a breath escapes her lips

Walls close her in

She was afraid.

Afraid of her past. Her future

slipping through her fingers

Long, narrow and reaching.

Reaching for some sort of substance.

Her smile hid the pain

Her music let it out.

Jim morrison posters hung above her bed.

Her long blond hair.

Golden locks. Spinning strands like rupunzel.

Sunday....

I came to your room you were different.

Glass pipes. White rocks.

You laughed. I cried.

You yelled. I left.

I returned......

"The end" played

over and over again

your pale blue body hung from a white sheet.

On April 15'th. 10:30 p.m.

your pain subsided.

I kissed you cheek.

I briefly stared at you there in your casket

your black velvet dress seemed as lifeless as you.

As beautiful as you.

And it was 7 days before my birthday
