We Know Better

Winds rise from the East
Harsh and rough, biting viciously at softness.
Droplets falling thick and fast,
Flooding the streets, feeding the plants,
Drowning the tears.

Anger, ripe and fresh together,
Bubbling just below that precious border,
The Divide between sanity and the rest.
A haven,
For those who understand.

Such a delicate state,
It has many shapes, many names,
But Earthlings are granted with but one.
Those who choose to waste, do not deserve.

For those who take a chance,
It will be fulfilled.

Burning inscents, the gentle breeze.
The falling rain, the great Divide.
They're all the same.

But ‘We’ can’t feel a thing.
‘We’ know better.

‘We’ know it’s over.
It’s ended.
Before our time.

Yet still 'we' dream.
Always dreaming.

Life is a precious rarity.
Only those who choose to Live,
Will be granted with such beauty.
Such power.
Such Life.

But for the rest of us,
Life Is But A Dream.
