This is just a short letter of how bullying affected me
Childhood
As a child from as far back as I can remember I was always so timid, I would very rarely smile but I was not aware of that until I was getting to my teen years and friends and relations would say please smile show us that you can, I do know I was always very unhappy I was targeted at school for me weaknesses and bullied like I never knew anyone could be.
Today I am happily married with hubby our children and grandchildren who we see every day.
If I could meet those bullies face to face now I would thank them for making me a much stronger person than they ever was, I would ask them what kind of kick they got out of bullying me and I would tell them how sorry I feel for them as there life's must have been so sad that they had to torture me daily making my life a living hell and to give them a big power ego. I do wonder what would have happened if I had fought back not that I could but it’s just a thought.
I sometimes wish I could meet them bullies still after all these years and let them know I have been happily married for 35 years and still very happy and in love also our two wonderful children have never given us any trouble and our grandchildren are adorable. I still have times when I have flash backs about school there awful things to have but I am just glad I managed to come out of things a stronger and better person than any of them ever could.
