A universe in which I love to lose myself is the universe of a cappella music. The sharpness of pitch, the rounding of vowels, the blending of voices independent of music, making their own music, is something almost indescribable. I love how singers can take a melody and paint so many different pictures with a universe of sound from chords that can come from out of nowhere, take you on a journey and bring you back home. Barbershoppers have the greatest joy, jazz artist a distant second to such bliss. Give me a melody. Let's walk the path of a cappella together.
