Love poem ?
Night Watch

In the emptiness tween dusk and dawn,
shackled in the cold by duty;
in the vacant hours my thoughts are torn,
by desire to gaze on your beauty;
to linger gently in your dreams,
willing my love to be in your prescence,
a comfort in your nightmare screams,
wishing it to you in quiessence.

Knowing to-morrow still stretches ahead,
not to think of the even longer night,
the desire for my feather soft bed
so very far out of my sight;
my thoughts drift back to you,
and the actual moments shared,
in the total sum seem far to few;
yet in them my soul was bared.

Mind and body tuned to a daze,
winter tendrils creeping to the bone,
slowly passing the weary phase,
I no longer feel as if I am alone,
thinking of you makes me bold
thank you for being there
for breaking fears freezing hold
giving me the reason to care.
