Try to guess what I'm afraid of.
Let me leave this place for a while
Just let me walk out the door
And pretend to go for milk or groceries
Don’t make me stay
Afraid of the walk to the car
Breathing heavily as people pass by
Don’t make me see them turn and stare
I want to go to restaurants without you
I want to be able to park at the mall without you
And I want to leave you behind in silent rooms
Alone without me
