Poem - A mans veiw on a woman getting ready to go out
Party...

'ARE YOU READY' He calls up the rickety stairs,
Can't she see that I'm waiting, not that she cares!
'I'M OFF NOW,' He bellows, 'AND I'M NOT COMING BACK!'
'One second,' She answers, ' Which bag, red or black?'
Forget it, I reason as I walk to the car,
She's had enough time, I should think, by far!
The tap of her heels strike the concrete floor,
The colour, oh boy, green for sure!
'GET IN!' I cry, my wits end is near,
'AND LOCK THE DOOR!' Don't go back, I fear.
The joy of a party, I dwell on, not gloat,
'Hang on a sweet second, i must get my coat!'
