My one true friend on which I can depend on.
My one true friend is a friend in deed,
she is always there when I am in need.
When I am in trouble, on her I do call,
She is my one true friend after all.
She gave me room to grow,
how I would turn out, She did not know.
She loved me and cared,
though when I was hurt, she was scared.
How do I repay her?
that cannot be.
For she is my friend, the only one I need.
She gave me life,
though not on her own.
She put her faith in the Lord,
that's why she's so strong.
She encouraged me to try,
then try again.
If all else fails, reach out your hand.
No looking back, she would always say
for that was yesterday, and not today.
She has never left me and always stood by my side.
Whenever she speaks, I usually abide.
For she is my mother and my one true friend.
Thank God for good people and friends till the end.
