My home's filth closes in, all around me. (Garland Cinquain entry)
All Around Me

Messy
Floor, once was clean.
Again, when mud attacked
My mop endured this loathsome chore.
Walkway

Dirty,
All around me.
Pans fill my sink to wash.
A slave to the suds, I must be.
Kitchen

Grungy
Clothes on my floor.
I pick up, and pick up;
And throw them at the closet door
Bedroom

Filthy
Tub, looking black
I scrub until you shine;
A never-ending job for me.
Bathroom

Grimy
Rooms in my house.
Cleaning! Organizing!
Me? A maid? The thought I abhor.
My home

Messy,
All around me.
I pick up, and pick up;
A never-ending job for me.
My home
