This was a failed relationship, wasted time, failed intentions, and my biggest regret.
Where did I go wrong?
Why don't you belong?
I waved my healing arms
and nothing happened.

Looking for affection
a manufactured deception
I touched her cheek
I looked, and lied.

I do have one regret
it took two years to see that bet
But now I want her
and I'm done with you.

If there's anything to learn
it's play with love and burn
My lesson came with a price
and one last word,
Good-bye.
