a poem about the difficulty in growing up
Round and round I go
My brain thinking to and fro

I think I like this, not sure about that
Why not the other, or more than that

Contemplating thinking, trying to decide,
What should I do in this hurling tide?

Of thoughts and questions, wants and desires
The more I think the more I tire

The things I can do, the things I have done
Where I want to be and how to have fun

What lies next I am not sure
But no matter what I will be secure

I stand firm nothing can shake me
Not matter how hard they try and make me

I will choose my own way and figure out
Just what my life is really about

Round and round I go
My brain is thinking to and fro

I am moving towards this, not thinking about that
To heck with the other as a matter of fact

I have contemplated thought and have decided
Now the hurling tide has subsided.

My thoughts eased, my questions answered
Chasing my wants and following desire

The things I will do have yet to be done
Greatness is mine, I will show everyone

What comes next, I’m still not sure
But that’s what a great adventure is for

Here I go, I finally jump in
My head is under, now its time to swim
