A poem about my matriarch departed grandmother.
The Queen sat high upon her thrown
never questioned or opposed
drones swarmed around her at all times
so forever, so immortal she seemed

dreamed of her as she would always be
even though she cracked her whip
people knew that was just the way it is
showed kindness no matter what
till this day I'll never forget her voice or touch

how strange to be under a new ruler
really never thought only seventy-six years she'd be with us
so now I must say the glue to our kingdom is disappearing
gone with our Queen
now I fear I must flee
everyone else is lost with out her
readying myself to rain supreme
my motto is long live the Queen as I strive to be just as she used to be.
