It's a break up poem....
I promised you love,
I gave you pain.
I promised you a heart,
an eternal flame.
None of this I gave
None of this, no.
Now turn your head and
watch me go.

Like winter's ice
my heart was.
Strikes with cold
distrust does.
My heart sends a
storm, ice and snow.
Now turn your head and
watch me go.

Nothing really matters
when you don't care.
Everything is nothing
no burdens to bare.
You're a barren field
where cold winds blow.
Now you can turn your head
and watch me go.

Without someone near
you begin to fade.
You forget all truth
and promises made.
My heart sends a
storm, ice and snow.
Now turn your head
to where the cold winds blow.
