Pain is only where your brain tells you it hurts
Crunch of bones;
crumbled and now the agony
- It’s better this way.
The affliction distracts me.

Upon first glance,
They thought it was punishment.
Self inflicted torture, for a
sin they know I know I committed.

Not so.

A concept like pain
created by the brain
can be controlled
Or directed.
Whichever works best.

So I punch something solid.
And it blots out everything.
Now my hand is the only thing that bleeds
