A cinderella story with a twist.
This is a story about two girls, Elsa and Cynthia. Both have different stories, and while Elsa's is the traditional Cinderella story, Cynthia's is just the opposite.

Elsa starts out as Cynthia's ladies maid, but soon she is the national 'cinderella' and Cynthia fades into the background, shoved under until she ends up in the same position in life that Elsa was at. She tries to return to her life, but it takes another cinderella story to get back.
