Sports story about roller blading
Samantha and Lizzy are best friends, they love rollerblading, and they live right next door to each other.
One day Samantha woke up real early in the morning and right away decided that the perfect way to spend the first day of summer vacation would be to go rollerblading with her best friend Lizzy. So first, she ran to her closet and rummaged throw it to find her rollerblades. Then, Samantha went to her dresser and dug through it to find a pair of jeans, a shirt, and a jacket then throw it on. Next, she ran out of her door and lastly, she knocked on her friend Lizzy's door. It took Lizzy a while to come to the door.
"What do you want at 7:00 A.M.?"
"It's summer and there’s no school!" said Lizzy.
"Come on, let's go rollerblading!" Said Samantha.
"No, I'm tired. Maybe around noon or something, just not now!" said Lizzy.
  "Pretty, pretty please?!" said Samantha.
"Oh, all right," said Lizzy with a chuckle, "just let me get dressed and get my skates and I'll be out in two minutes."
When Lizzy came out the door they both sat on the steps in front of Lizzy's house and put their skates on and started rollerblading to the park.

As they skated down the street, Lizzy told Samantha she knew a shortcut.
"Are you sure you know the way?" asked Samantha.
"Trust me, I know the way," said Lizzy.
"Let’s take the shortcut, after all, the faster we get there, the faster we can start our summer fun!"
So, they both took the shortcut.

On their way through the shortcut, they took a wrong turn and ended up at the top of an enormous hill, but they didn't realize it because they were not paying attention. So they both went crashing down the hill at full speed! Lizzy tried to hold on to Samantha's waist to keep her balance. They almost hit a man walking slowly down the hill but managed not to. Lizzy fell from Samantha's waist and rolled onto her back. Samantha looked back to see if Lizzy was all right.
"Watch out!" yelled Lizzy. Samantha looked ahead just in time to turn out of the way of a giant tree.
"That was a close one!" said Lizzy and Samantha together.

Samantha and Lizzy both took off their skates, walked back up the hill, and to the park. There, they put their skates back on and just skated around. They also made a promise to each other that they wouldn't ever take a short cut again.
