obsessive love
Dracula’s revenge… feeding upon me

In love, so much with Dracula
Of vapor
Evaporating away from me

Who is the one I adore?
Just a shadow
Walking out my door
Just a dream
I don’t know for sure

Yet, there’s a picture
Framed and hanging on my wall
But is it truly there at all?

He passes the kitchen
Passes the mirror
No reflection appears

He has no taste for blood
But hungers my tears

Just a vampire
Sucking, feeding my fears

Oh, there he goes
Nobody knows
Not even me
Who would?
When there’s nothing to see

Nobody knows who I adore
Just a shadow
Who drained and chained me
To the floor

In love with shadows
In love with dreams
Entrapped and cloaked
Behind silken bat wings

He’s just a stranger
A livid fantasy
