A witch Princess falls in love with Dracula's son.
Farah was a teen-age witch and she was set in her ways. She wasn't Daddy's little Princess anymore. She was eighteen years old and had fallen in love with Dracula's son Valkien. Her parents would not approve. She couldn't stay her parents' little girl forever. She would meet Valkien every night by the lake. Valkien would turn into a bat and fly to the castle and they would fly in the night together. Farah loved gazing at the stars and flying with Valkien. Sometimes, Valkien would fly on her broom stick with her and not be a bat. Farah knew that she would have to tell her parents about him someday but the timing wasn't right, yet.

Farah and Valkien had meet when Valkien flew from Transylvania in his bat form and she was sitting by the lake one night at midnight. Farah loved sitting by the lake. She was startled when a bat flew over and landed next to her. She was ready to use her broom on him when he turned into human form. "Who are you and what are you? she asked. She still had her broom poised ready to hit him.

Valkien smiled. "I am Valkien, Count Dracula's son. You are Eusticia's daughter Farah. Father knows your family."

"He should! Your demon father turned my Great Grandma into a vampire and my mother's family were all vampires including my mother!" Farah looked at the handsome vampire with his black hair, not a strand out of place. His dark eyes intrigued her. She was mesmarized.

Valkien smiled at the beautiful red head. "You are beautiful and charming. I promise that I won't bite you. I wanted to meet you. The witch who is the Vampire Princess's daughter. Would that make you a Witch Princess?

"Yes. I am a Witch Princess. If my mother catches you here, she will drive a stake through your heart!"

"I think not, Princess. My father and I have found a way to be immuned to wooden stakes. We are immortal. Nothing can kill us. Relax. Father and I don't need blood to survive. Like your mother. She no longer feasts on blood. With that out of the way, can we be friends?"

"Friends? What do we possibly have in common?"

"Let's see. You are a witch and I am a vampire. We can fly in the air. I am taken in by your beauty."

Valkien produced black roses and handed them to Farah. Farah smiled. He definitely had charm. They flew together in the sky. He was in bat form and she was on her broom. To show off, she would levitate. Valkien came back every night for the next three months and they would fly or sat by the lake. Farah loved when he kissed her passionately. Needless to say, the Witch Princess and vampire fell in love.

Farah asked Valkien if he could be out in the daylight. He could but only for a few hours. Vampires couldn't stay in the daylight for too long. Like Farah's mother. She stayed in the castle during the day and came out at night. Luckily, Eusticia hadn't caught Farah with Valkien, yet. Farah would see her mother before eight'o' clock every night and then she would go meet Valkien. Eusticia and Farah's father would go see Drucilla and Avantes{the witch and her husband who lived in a cottage next door} but Farah and Valkien would be on the other side of the lake. Farah knew that someday she would have to tell her parents but she wasn't sure when. With Valkien and Farah seeing so much of each other, it was only natural that they made love. They started to express their love every night by the lake. Eusticia began to question Farah about where she was at night. She told her mother she was visiting the witches who had raised her for those eight years that she was left with by Eusticia. Eusticia never suspected that Farah was with a man especially a vampire.

Farah begin to feel sick every morning. She realized that she must be pregnant! This wasn't good. She told Valkien and he was happy. "Marry me. You are having my child. You know I love you."

"I love you, too. I will have to tell my parents." Valkien said that he would go with her to tell her parents. Farah told him no. She would have to tell them herself. Before Farah had a chance to do so, Dracula arrived just as the sun set. Eusticia hissed when she saw Dracula and threw her golden candle sticks at him. "What are you doing here? You turned my Great Grandma into a vampire and my whole family are vampires except for my daughter. You have no busines here. Leave!"

Amalgaid, Farah's father who was knight got out his sword. Dracula just laughed. "You can't kill a vampire that way! We live forever. We are going to be grandparents. Valkien and Farah have been together every night for five months and Farah is pregnant."

Just then Valkien and Farah arrived walking arm in arm. Farah was stunned to see Dracula. Eusticia was in shock. "Farah, are you pregnant? Have you been with Dracula's son? Are you in love with him? Amalgaid dropped his sword and didn't say anything.

"Yes, mother I'm pregnant. This is Valkien, my lover and baby's father. We are going to be married."

You can't! He is Dracula's son! Dracula is hated by all! How could you pick his son to be in love with? He is evil! Your baby will be evil!" Eusticia's eyes were turning red.

"Mother, Valkien isn't evil. Dracula is well respected in social circles. Besides, mother you are a vampire. People in the village have said the same about you. I love you and father but I am marrying Valkien. You can be happy for us and see your grandchild or I will move to Transylvania and never come back."

Amalgaid finally spoke. "We love you and don't want you to leave and never come back. It will be hard for us to accept Dracula and his son. As for the baby. We want to be there for you."

Eusticia was crying and Farah hugged her. "Mother, be happy for us. Things will be alright. I love you and father. Give us your blessing."

"The damage is done. We love you and want to be in your life. We will accept Valkien and Dracula but they had better be loyal and not hurt the people we care about." Eusticia managed a smile and held out her arms to her daughter and Farah hugged her mother.

Dracula laughed but it wasn't an evil laugh. "We can all get along. You can visit me at my castle anytime and the baby will have everything and be loved by his family. I look forward to this. Eusticia, forgive me for the past? Amalgaid, old man can we be friends?" Eusticia, Armagaid and Dracula hugged and then they hugged their children.

Farah and Valkien were married and had twins. A vampire boy and a vampire girl. They named them Dracula and Anastasia. They lived in Transylvania but flew home to see Farah's parents frequently like every night. The vampires and witch families especially liked Halloween! Maybe this Halloween, you will see witches and bats flying in the sky!
