This is a poem I wrote about my painful teenage years.
I don’t know how I handled all that pain
I don’t know why I mastered all that pain
I went through all those things slowly

It was not fun, it was not easy
Sullen that’s what I was
It was not a pretty picture
Laying in darkness for a period of my life

Never leaving the house, always staying inside
Separating myself from my peers
Fearing my peers on a daily basis

I had pain, I had rage
You never know how bad it can be until you look back
And you know that you must be strong
To pick yourself up and move on

It was not fun, it was not easy
Sullen that’s what I was
It was not a pretty picture
Laying in darkness for a period of my life

It was a emotional test, a mental test
And I past, the best test I ever took
Everything I went through was for a reason a simple reason
To see how tough I truly was in the long run
Keep on moving on, keep on experiencing, and keep on learning
Finally start to live my own dam life
And I will always know that everyone has issues in there lives
My story is just a page
