mistakes, death
What has happened to our motivation?
I pushed away, the strength you had
We had to resort to giving up the dream.
And yet I still tried to be there for you
When we all knew the pain you were causing

There is no cure for this withered faith
And the distance that we've made
I unwillingly followed you through all of your mistakes
The timelessness of your words, they still follow me
Carry me
Through the hardness, through the coldness
I'm still searching, for who I am
But you only skimmed the surface

I saw that you were choking,
But I held my breath
I didn’t run over to you
I greedily watched you suffer
I believe you deserved it

But the past has no idea
What is happening now
So do you realize?
We have no idea how to keep the past a secret
To hold onto one another
There is no cure
For memories
