What will a girl do to find the truth?
I looked down at the stone on my chain. It twinkled in the soft glow of the light next to my bed. I never take it off. I feel as though it deffends me from anything.

I looked at the clock and saw it was aready one in the morning. I closed my book and turned off the light. I felt the cool stone lay against my skin. I always read before I go to bed. It gives me dreams of what my real family would be like if they didn't put me up for adoption when I was a baby. I knew they probably didn't have the money to take care of a baby at the time, but I still want to meet them. I closed my eyes and slowing drifted off to sleep.

I woke up the next morning to a banging sound at my door. I walked over and opened it to see my mom standing there with a tray and a bowl of milk on it. "What did I do?" I asked rubbing my eyes.

"Why don't we go out today? We can go shopping, and a bunch of other things, how about it?" She asked sitting on my bed.

"I would love to mom, but I still have LOADS of homework. Maybe another day. Sorry mom, it sounded really fun." I said as I took out my bags and showed her the amount of work I had.

"That's okay. But I still have one question. Why do you take so many AP classes?" She asked walking to the door.

"Because, I want to get into a good college." I explained to her, when I knew that I only took them because I needed stuff to fill my time so I don't think to much on my real parents.

I always felt out of place like there was always something missing. Like a fact I over looked. The fact that would get me closer then ever to my real parents. I've visited the place where I was adopted from and read through all their records of me. Whenever we go on vacation I always asked to go to a records place to try to find them, and when we went to the Statue of Liberty I asked if I could try to find somebody with their last name. I found the last name in the place where I got adopted. But that was the only time I ever saw it. In those records. And there wasn't even their name just mine. They said I was found somewhere and brought to the adoption home.

I just got a book on family history to try to see if there's another way to find them. But no such luck. I tried everthing in the book that it suggested. It was crazy and the last thing I could do was to confront my parents and tell them I needed information and now. But that little detail would have to be put on hold. Since at that very moment when I was about to go down stares and tell them, that a teenage boy floated in THROUGH the WALL and started hovering right in front of my face. I just stared at him wide eyed. What was I suposed to go say, 'What up, my name is Emma. And yours?' I don't think so.

"Hmmm." He said still floating in front of me. "She fits the discription but she doesn't look to know what's going on." He added. This teen had blonde hair, blue eyes, tall, and his clothes were black white and yellow. He kinda looked like a bumble-bee, but some-how it looked surprisingly good on him.

But after he said his last statement I said to him, "Of Course I Have No Idea What's Going On! A Guy Just Flew THROUGH My Wall!!!"

"You can see me?" He questioned still floating right in front of my face.
