I can see the world better from the middle of my screams...
I walk below the moonlight
Twelve o’ clock at night.
The wind is gentle on my face
my house is out of sight.

The sky looks mighty powerful
with clouds of grey and black,
but suspense is getting greater,
it’s holding something back.

A sea of tears
has much less fear
than a silent lake
completely clear.
To scream and cry
is not a lie,
and its better out than
Trapped Inside.

Then suddenly, the rain bursts through,
cleans every tree and vine.
It’s crying hours worth of tears,
maybe even mine.

I point my face skywards,
their rain falls to my eyes.
And openly, I cry with them,
I don’t even know why.

A sea of tears
has much less fear
than a silent lake
completely clear.
To scream and cry
is not a lie,
and its better out than
Trapped Inside.

I’d stay out here for years and years,
no starting point, no end.
It feels like a remedy,
my memories I mend.

But high above, the thunder slows,
the end is drawing nigh.
My tears like the rain subside,
and like the wind they slowly die...
