Just because someone is different, does that mean that they don't deserve to be equal?
I bush my hair,
You comb.
I have a simple style,
You spike it high.

You see me as equal.

My eyes are dark and brown,
Your eyes are bright and captivating.
I look toward the ground,
You look straight ahead.

You see me as equal.

My heart opens slowly,
Your heart falls easily.
I have a lot of love to give,
You had a lot of love you gave.

You see me as equal.

I am a homosexual,
You are a heterosexual.
I like my fingers in the hair of men,
You like them in the hair of women.
I like to stare in the eyes at the soul of a man.
You like to stare in the eyes at the soul of a woman.
I love other men,
You love women.

Why can't you still see me as equal?
