A Pushkin Sonnet for Stretch Your Style contest. This form has a weird rhyme scheme.
I do remember well my college years.
I had a lot of class but never went.
The time was full of many cheers and tears.
The crowded bars is where my nights were spent.

My days were filled with lots of politics.
In student government I learned life's tricks.
The lack of honesty was so profound,
The loss of innocence would just astound.

Stress was relieved by drugs and alcohol
And many late nights filled with shameless sex
Ending in hazy mornings that perplexed.
I must have met this girl after last call.

Although those years were filled with so much strife
I know it was the best time of my life.
