A rhyming poem about local parks that have lots of birds.
Nothing more beautiful
Than the parks in my town;
In the trees and the bushes
Sit the birds, blue and brown.

Bluebirds basking
In bushes and flowers,
Begin to seek cover
Amid spring and fall showers.

A robin’s breast glows
Bright red from his feathers
While the female, more drab,
Raises young while he gathers.

Blue and brown birds
Flying low to the ground,
Then perched atop trees
Making that chirping sound.

These parks in my town
Overflowing with birds,
A sight so becoming,
Too cherished for words!
