The unrequited love a woman has for her best friend
Loving you fills my heart with joy.  *Heart*
You complete me in so many ways.
You make me feel like a princess, special and loved,
and yet...

I know that you do not love me
as much as I love you,
and that hurts.

Yet I continue loving you because,
I have never met anybody quite like you,
a teddy bear,
who holds me, caresses me...

Through your love and affection,
you have mended all the open wounds
that have been inflicted on me through my difficult life.

You have built me up from the ground,
and have made me into the woman that I am today.

And that is so special,
even if it can't nourish my heart's desire.
