A poem that looks at how fast life can pass us by.
Time

Time is running,
Flashing by.

Never ceasing, never stopping.
Never halting for a breath.

Always moving, always flowing,
Always crashing through the years.

Time is endless, Time is precious,
Time goes on and on.

Time is flying, Time is swooping,
Time is dashing by.

Time runs through the hours, years,
And centuries without ever looking back.

Time ruins empires, fells forests,
And kills entire nations.

Time is precious, Time is fleeting,
Time is flashing by.

Time is not something you can hold,
Nor is it something you can see.

Time is immortal, Time is forever,
Time is flashing by.

Time never slows, never stops,
Always speeding, always rushing,

Always rushing to and fro,
Never stopping to look around.

So grab hold of Time, And hold it tight.
And don't let it slip away.

Savor the moments as they come.
For once they are gone,
They will be no more.

Time is moving, Time is endless,
Time is flashing by.
