Short poem written for my mothers memorial
By: MomWhoWrites (aka Simplyme3113)

A Single Touch
Would mean so much
To mend these broken hearts

Just one last glance
One last chance
To ease this time apart

Oh what we would give
If you could have lived
Just one single perfect day

But it is too late
For dreaded fate
Has stolen you away

We yearn to cry
Yet sit dry-eyed
For we know your pain has gone

And in our grief
We find some relief
Knowing you still live on,

That someday again
Though we can't say when
We'll get to hold each other

Until that day...
The only thing left to say is.....
Forever and always We Love you Mother
