A passage of friendship through time and love
As you walked away from me that day , you turned with your arms spread like an angel smiling to say," I'll see you on Monday babe." I would never see you again. Monday I was waiting for your return and quietly fell asleep dreaming of you.
At 1:11 p.m. I had been awakened feeling strange but shook it as being groggy from sleep. Monday came and went, you were not there you did not come.

The next morning I learned of you passing, with shocking denial and anger of "It can not be!" Your father comforted me and we both realized in conversation that we awoke at the exact same time 1:11 p.m. Monday afternoon. What little comfort that allowed us at the time was never enough.

For seven years you invaded my dreams each night trying to comfort me with bright beautiful colors of golden spectrum, each filling me with happiness and laughter. saying to me you could only stay for a short time. Dancing with me laughing spinning us faster and faster.

The dreams would change over time, you were hoping that I could accept that you had died but not left me. Eventually you did leave because I could not let you go and continue on with my life. You gently disappeared from my dreams. Although my heart broke for you over and over again . I know it is what you had to do.

Eighteen years have passed since our last dance. I have continued on without you never far from my thoughts. Trying and struggling with why our time so brief with one another. Thankful to have you in my life for the time i did, that was a gift. I wanted to believe we were soul mates. Recently I have accepted that we were not, just friends for each other passing together through a brief space and time.

Recently one spring day I was resting fading in to a dream, you came to me again different this time you were happy, truly happy. I told you that I could let you go now. You smiled and replied to me, " No babe, I have let you go. " I woke up and looked at my clock it was 1:11p.m. ... For C.Kenny my friend
