Gone In a Flash

I heard your rare voice.
Startling, soft, screech set my eyes to seeking-high, high, into piercing blue and blinding light, to find you, to witness your beauty.

Your stunning presence on a sharp sunny day, a sight that pulled my heart, brought my smile as I held my breath and knew joy's fleeting, full wonder-gone in a flash, but burned forever in my soul.
