A spontaneous, personal poem.
Fifteen years of Neverland

Fifteen years and my imagination hasn't changed...

In my mind I am me
Tiger lilies bloom
The sky still stretches only as far as I see
I can still fly if I try hard enough
Nothing's impossible

In my mind I am me
The unstoppable superhero
When the world blows up
I'm the only survivor
The everlasting future
And the past

Fifteen years and I'm still the only one to survive the trip back from Neverland...

In my mind I am me
Childhood left but I still stand
Tiger lilies stopped blooming but I grow them anyway
The sky goes on forever, only because I want it to
I did fly but I let myself crash

In my mind I am me
The superhero that has yet to let the villain win
The one who kept her own world together
Still the everlasting future till death
And the past

In fifteen years my imagination hasn't changes...
Because In my mind I am me
