This is a poem I wrote after I saw how many people were labeling me.
I will never be who you want me to be.
I will never try.
I will wear what I want.
Not what society wants.
I will wear a band t-shirt
(That I got from a concert, not a store)
With my blue jean skirt pulled high.
If I want to.
I will cut my hair myself.
I will keep my natural hair color.

I will never conform.

I will not get a tattoo because everyone else is.
I will not get a tattoo because no one else is.
I will treat everyone the same,
If that's how they treat me.
I will not judge on appearance.
I will not judge on labels.
Have the same courtesy for me.

I will never conform.

I will be labeled as a poser.
That's okay.
I will be labeled as a wannabe.
That's okay.
I will be labeled as an emo.
That's okay.
Say what you want about me.
I don't care anymore.

I will NEVER conform.
