Still unedited.
Your non-chalant air,
Words wafting over the onlookers,
Pelting me with the intensity,
The chill extends to my fingers,
The tension,
The torrent of conflicting thoughts,
Pulsing, pounding in my ears,
Guilt.
The pain within escapes my veins,
A release,
A reminder forever imprinted,
He asks for an answer,
Guilt.
Theincreasing burden of lies,
A fall, A scrape
But you never escape my mind.
Guilt.
Your thoughts roar through my ears
As they did when spoken,
Still tearing through my mind,
Thinking of who to blame,
How to change,
New resolutions,
No solutions.
Guilt.
