No rules here just a poem. About struggles I had with my stepdad. For a contest.
Looking back on memories

Some gladly left forgotten

Yelling and screaming

Feeling useless

Almost helpless

I could only hide between the walls

My room kept me from Conflict

But I Survived

The troubles that were building up inside

Keep looking back

Don’t forget the memories

Of times I learned

Times I cried

I wont forget

I wont forgive

But I do know that

Looking back on memories

Relieve me

You are no longer here to Hurt me

Thank you

For leaving me with my memories
