I wrote this mainly for my daughter becuase I needed peace and quiet but got rain instead.
The days are quiet now
No one to talk to now
I only listen to the wind and rain
It falls on everything, bringing life back in
I thank the Lord for these pleasures
The only thing left to make me happy
Rain drops and puddles on my window sill
I am happy to hear

What a better place to live
With the rain and clouds
Thank you Lord for these beautiful things
I am happy to hear
