A poem about a night out
Here I sit again shamefully on the floor
Trying to eat, but can't bring myself to
It's all such a mess, I try for the door.
Sprinting, shaking, blaming it all on you.

You asked me out, to that seedy bar,
With dollar brews and many guys.
We drank until we couln't find the car,
Stumbling, fumbling around with bloodshot eyes.

We found that cab near the city square
He took us home, then you asked to crash here.
When I look at you now I can only glare,
You forced me to have that one last beer.

Now we're both suffering from the brown bottle flu,
I'm just glad I was out with you!
