something i created while working
So here I sit. Oblivious to my surroundings.
Off in a fantastic place of nothingness. Vagrant, deprived of thoughts.
I open my mind to my fantasy.
A slur of colours, images, figures, and sceneries come pouring in through the flood gates of my imagination. Pouring through the valley of my decrepit brain, I pick and grab items of interest, trying to create a dream that I can piece together and exploit.
Searching for items, ideas, anything that would help me escape this dreary day.
Anxiety forms as I struggle to grasp these ideas that are being washed away in to the depths of oblivion.
Success out of the wash of ideas I mange to grab a toy red truck. Startled and confused, I ponder of the significance of this item.
Creating a life size version, I embark in a cross country trip dreaming of open roads, clear skies, horses and cows grazing the fields around me, rolling green hills and birds singing in a gorgeous world. Flowers bloom, sun shines. Everything is right in this world.
Free in my dreams I fly, fly to freedom from the dreadful obscurity of my existence a faceless tree. Here to serve and loath.
"Can I get a Big mac please?" Snatched from my escape. Yanked like a yoyo just about to snap free from its oppressive string.
"Would you like fries with that?"
