Sometimes you just can't get your head to shut up.
Whispers…

That’s all I hear
Inside the heart and
Inside the head.

Whispers…

They’re all that is
Under the couch and
Under the bed.

Whispers…

They never shut up
Within the soul and
Within the brain.

Whispers…

Their voices like ice
Down the spine and
Down the vein.

Whispers…

They won’t go away
Through the sun and
Through the rain.

Whispers…

That’s all I ever hear

Whispers
