Spouses in unhappy marriage contemplate divorce.
LET’S TAKE A DIVORCE

Come, let us take a divorce,
We can’t pull together.
Why try to keep a pretence
And why fool each other?

In our hearts both of us know,
We have not succeeded.
Each other’s failings in our
Hearts are strongly seeded.

I can’t stand your tongue lashes,
It’s late for you to change.
It’s a daily routine that
Leads to bitter exchange.

Things are getting bad to worse.
Each day is a bad day.
Each night is a new ordeal.
For peace I daily pray.

Now it is quite clear to me
We’re not for each other.
Why not then get a divorce?
Why not end this bother?
