A freestyle short poem
Grey, overcast sky stretched over a brooding sea,
Early morning drizzle and soggy sand,
Alone with my thoughts and the sea goddess.
Fearless gulls eyeing me for intruding.
Restless but refreshing, awesome yet terrifying.
The raw power of relentless thrashing water,
Yet under the surface a hypnotic swaying dance.
Is the power in the irresistible flow and rhythm or the savage pounding?
