lost love's return
Gently brushing past my mind
Like the breeze off a passing butterfly.
Teasing, tormenting and so unkind
Are the fleeting memories of love gone by..

As gossamer caresses the breeze of spring
So touch our lips in fondest memory.
Love, lost, the antithesis of my heart’s feeling
Numbly awaiting true love’s return to me.
