Ever wonder what's in a poet's mind as YOU read THEIR poem? Come See...
A Poet’s Perspective…

I write my words, I pen my rhymes;
And although misconstrued sometimes,
I cannot quit I must press on –
My rhymes will live when I'm long gone.

For words are gifts within the heart;
Meant to inscribe – made to impart
Strong feelings that might touch one’s soul.
(It is indeed a poet’s goal).

Within each stanza’s ending word
Where thoughts run rampant – clearly heard;
Connections lie betwixt the two –
The writer and the reader’s view…

And in that moment we stand – one.
The contact made can’t be undone.
Despised or loved – it matters not.
Our paths have met within that spot.

And in the end where feelings fall
Profound in mind you might recall
A lesson learned – a laugh – a tear.
My little rhyme has drawn us near…
