The legend of a small town's hanging in Kentucky.

Hanging Town

There is a place in the old country town.
Where men were hung from all around.
With no trial they were sentenced to die.
By the hangman's noose hung outside.

In those old years justice was very swift.
The guilty paid for what had been done.
Bounty hunters would track them down.
Dead or alive they stayed within the law.

They earned a living by using their guns.
The stakes were high for the right ones.
They were hung in the middle of town.
When they were given their last chance.

They all had a chance for a last speech.
To clear their self of any bad they'd done.
Some would cry others would beg them.
Not to release the trap door they stood on.
