More kinda lika minda blowin trick...
Today I made an enemy

Today I made and enemy
His name is Poverty
We argued about money
And more about vanity

The passing of our friend weakened us
His name is Luxury, died from our gas
The gas that towed our friendship
The gas that ruined our relationship

Now we are alone
More sins to atone
Greater heights to soar
With our faces on the floor

We’re stepped at
We’re spat at
We’re flat broke
Merely a joke

To those who see us as a beggar
Who can’t even buy a cigar
We’re just equal as you see
Thanks to our little friend called poverty

Today I made an enemy
His name is Poverty
For I wouldn’t be like this anymore
If luxury didn’t walked out my door
