Everything has a reason to be; Nature is a wise mother!
Outside they're falling
Movin' away quietly
And I hear a voice calling
My name silently

There's a grace in the rain
A grace that I can't contain
Using words would be in vain
To express what no one can

Graciously it goes on its way
Wetting everything it finds
And even when it destroys
It does so to ease the life

It washes away all the shame
It cleans the world to receive
The sunlight that it's claimed
As a right of those who believe

After all when it has gone
It has left us its benefit
The promise of the rebirth
Of a new day without malefits
