A poem about losing someone you love.
I can't count the days I lie awake
I want to call but I know you won't be there
The heavyness returns with the pains
Everytime I hear your name
Darkness now surrounds you
There's nothing I can do
You hated to sleep
Now you rest six feet deep
I remember the joy, the laughter, even the years
I can't even have my tears
All I can do
Is say that I love you
This pain is all I can take
This is how a heart breaks.
