Be careful when a family member asks you to do something!
...I was suprised when aunt Midge asked me to take Shelter. Shelter was an exotic cat. She said she knew I would take good care of her so I agreed.
When she bought the cat over it was hissing in the cage. Midge said she was just scared, she would hide for a while as she adjusted to the new digs. They bought me plenty of supplies including 35 lbs of cat litter. How nice, I thought.

Shelter never stopped hiding. After all day I decided to play with my new pet. She ran into the bathroom and would not come out. The cat hissed and scratched every time I came near. Whenever I took a leak I watched my back, just in case. I went to bed knowing the cat would warm up tomorrow.

I was awakened by the sound of 'meow'. The cat from hell was under my bed, hollering. When I would get up and turn on the light she would stop, but everytime i fell asleep, more meow. I finally ran Shelter back into the tub.

The next morning she was determined to stay in the tub. I sprayed her, and hit her with the broom but she would not budge. As I showered with this cat at my feet I asked myself "WHY"? I went to work happy to have escaped with no scratches. I would take it day by day.
When I got home the damn cat was barracaded in my bottom bathroom cabinet. She was serious and intent on staying, pissing and shitting. After many attempts to get this beast out of my bathroom a sudden calm came over me as I thought of two words:
Animal Control. They were there within 15 minutes.

The End
