This is a poem about a werewolf legend I read.
The day has gone
The clock ticks by
As I wait for dawn
And let out a tired sigh

I will not let sleep come
It's a plan without doubt
For a reason so dumb
As not letting a monster out

Lycanthropy is a curse
That haunts me every day
It will never be in reverse
Now I must always pay

The sky is still dark
And my eyes grow weary
As I glance down at my Mark
A reminder of the day that was eerie

The clock tolls midnight
And I finally give up the fight
