If it's the end of the world, tell me-- Where are the frogs?
Things fall apart, the center cannot hold.
         What to do?
It’s the end of the world.
It’s not.
It’s just hurt, It’s just pain, It’s just suffering.
         The end is near.
No, it’s not.
There is not plague, There is no disease, There is no sickness.
         The time will come—
when the world has ended?
when the sky has fallen?
After?
         Never.
Sweet whispers, Careless kisses, Tender hugs—
It’s just today.
Adept heroes, Cowering athletes, Dauntless children—
Today is the day.
It
  can
      not
            be
                the
Apocalypse.
I have not lived my
life, wasting away
slipping through my
fingers, grasping at
the hope
That today is not the day.
That tomorrow still exists.
That I still have time
to love
to hate
to die.
If it’s the end of the world,
tell me—
Where are the frogs?
