Life is overwhelming. Even more so when you make it harder than it should be.
I’ve got my life ahead of me
And the world at my feet
I have a heart full of dreams
But I’m claiming defeat

I don’t have any answers
The ones I pick aren’t right
I forgot to get life’s manual
And there’s not much hope in sight

They say the world is my oyster
But I feel trapped inside
Still, this shell will never be big enough
For my conscience to properly hide

All my troubles, they consume me
From my head I can’t escape
This pressure is slowly killing me
All these problems, I create

I am my own worst enemy
From myself, I cannot hide
I hope one day I’ll find some peace
Until then, my demons I’ll adbide
